Bryan Bros Bring Home Bling
With their 2006 Wimbledon title, the Bryan brothers now have a doubles career Grand Slam, i.e. they’ve won titles at all four slams in different years. That’s not too shabby for a couple 28 year old (American) tennis players and hopefully they have a few more titles left in those tall, lanky bodies! Bob and Mike are awesome for tennis, both on and off the court. Since they focus on doubles, they really play the angles and understand the strategy of doubles plus their teamwork is so in sync being twins and all! When you watch them in a match, their enthusiasm for the game makes you wanna go out and play! I hope they do tons of clinics with little kids because they would inspire many to take up the game. With all the talk about the slide in American tennis, let’s not forget that the U.S. has one of the premier doubles teams in the world playing in its backyard…
