A Real "Sheroe"

Before a record crowd of over 23,000 cheering fans, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center was officially named Monday in a star-studded ceremony prior to Andre Agassi's first round singles match. Chris Evert, John McEnroe, Venus Williams and Jimmy Connors shared the stage and many other legends such as Martina Navratilova were also on hand. Hosted by Mary Carillo, it was a very touching tribute and an honor that was well-deserved. I'd never heard the term "sheroe" until BJK uttered it on Monday, but she totally embodies it by her life and her accomplishments. As she said in her remarks, "Dream and then go for it!" Billie Jean has been a pioneering “sheroe” and she's nowhere near done yet! Thank goodness...
