It was all about the number three for Roger Federer at the 2007 Australian Open. He won the final in three straight sets on his way to winning the title without losing a set, i.e. winning all his matches in three sets this year. In addition, Federer has now become the only man to win three slams three times, i.e. Federer has won the title at the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open three times. Now maybe come May of 2007, Federer’s third final at Roland Garros may be the charm for his first French Open title and second leg of a possible Grand Slam. It’s a very long road to travel between Australia and Paris, mais on verra… we’ll see…
