Did anyone else notice the watch on Roger Federer's left wrist DURING his matches at the Kooyong event prior to the 2007 Australian Open?
Federer has had watch endorsements for several years, but I've never seen him actually play a match wearing a watch.
He usually just slips on the watch right after the match in time for the trophy presentation!
Actually, very few players wear a watch while they play - Justine Henin-Hardenne is a rare one who comes to mind.
As someone who has played tennis wearing a watch for my entire life I can tell you that it's something that you need to wear all the time or never.
It may sound silly, but you do feel the weight of the watch on your arm.
Wonder why Federer made the change... the New Year, a new fashion statement, or?
