Always Worth Watching

A recent article in TIME magazine recounted Serena Williams' travails of the past couple years and speculated on the possibility of a Grand Slam by Serena in 2007. Serena is an incredibly talented, powerful and charismatic tennis player. It seems until (and probably after) Serena Williams hangs up her tennis rackets, the press and fellow players will discuss her strengths, weaknesses, choices in life, as well as her tennis legacy. The excitement Serena generates, the controversies
about her lifestyle choices, the heart-thumping volatility in her matches, the brilliance that can occur in her shot execution, all help to build an audience for tennis. Serena is a PR dream. This is what makes Serena Williams, "Serena," and it fuels both her, as well as the sport of tennis, which is definitely a good thing for both of 'em!

i feel that serena and venus should not be critized for their outside interest other than tennis. they have both proved to be no 1 tennis players and should be able to enjoy their lives without critisism
