Justine Henin

Justine Henin started off the year walking down a very rough road as she separated from her husband, Pierre-Yves Hardenne, and skipped the year’s first Grand Slam down under at the Australian Open.  Since then, Henin has clearly decided to change some things in her life, e.g. reuniting with her father and siblings after being estranged for several years, as well as attempting to

become more open and to enjoy the moment more.  Fortunately for Justine and the tennis world, her personal travails have not negatively impacted her play on the tennis court.  As Henin heads into the French Open final on Saturday seeking her fourth title at Roland Garros and third consecutive championship on the red clay, she will be playing in front of one of her good luck charms, i.e. Manuel, the son of her long-time coach Carlos Rodriguez, whose family has become part of her extended family.
