"Dressin" Up

Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams

The tennis clothing manufacturers reintroduced dresses several years ago and it’s nice to see that the style has continued amidst the myriad tops, skirts and shorts worn by most pros.  At the French Open, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova have both unveiled very stylish dresses, albeit in different ways.  Sharapova’s dress has two layers including a bright light blue inner layer covered by a very dark navy blue sheer “mesh-like” outer layer.  The dress

continues Sharapova’s flapper style from the past with a low waist and is a definite departure from past dress designs.  Serena’s bright pink dress stands out primarily because of the dark maroon jog bra that she wears underneath it which appears alone across her upper back from the rear!  Until she turns around, you don’t realize the entire design of the dress – quite clever!  Stella McCartney has also created some unique new designs for adidas and now Nike has raised the bar a little higher… it’s all good!

I love the dresses, they are very feminine and its good to see They're almost normal day dresses. And if you look good why not flaunt it.
I like wearing the traditional wrap around pleated netball skirt when i'm playing tennis, because i wouldnt look as good as them in those dresses. And if there is any ladies complaining about the tennis fashion, they are probley jellious.

i absolutely love maria sharapova's dress and i am just dying to find it and wanting to buy it somewhere. Does anyone know where i could find it?
