The (Australian) Age of Love
Aussie tennis player, Mark Philippoussis, has earned legions of tennis fans all over the world, but his fan base in the United States is about to expand “dramatically”… Philippoussis is “the guy” on a new reality dating show airing on NBC in the U.S. starting January 18th. At age 30, Philippoussis’ latest comeback at the beginning of 2007 was derailed by yet another knee injury in a warm-up event for the 2007 Australian Open. Philippoussis’
career has been sidetracked several times over the years because of injuries and occasionally off-court distractions, but his talent has never been in question. Philippoussis will earn some money and fame from the TV show, “The Age of Love,” but hopefully he will manage one more splash on the tennis court as well before he hangs up his rackets.
