Serena Williams has often been quite the trendsetter with her tennis attire and so her dress on opening night of the 2007 U.S. Open was a bit of a surprise, i.e. Serena’s Nike dress looked remarkably similar to the adidas design worn by Ana Ivanovic at the 2007 French Open in late May. Both dresses are quite attractive, stylish and flattering to their respective players. One major difference is that Serena often wears several
different tennis outfits/styles during tournaments so let's see what else she unveils during the 2007 U.S. Open. Meanwhile, Ivanovic wore the same dress throughout the French Open. Tennis dresses have been making a bit of a comeback the past few years and one wonders why Nike didn’t consider changing at the least coloring on Serena’s dress. Regardless, clearly pink is one of the hot colors of the season!
