Babolat Goes Bigger

Babolat, the French tennis string brand, successfully expanded into tennis rackets many years ago starting with Andy Roddick as its high-profile endorser. Prince started the oversize tennis racket revolution decades ago and all the other racket manufacturers followed suit. Now Babolat, which is also expanding into tennis clothing, is launching a new line of oversize tennis rackets designed to appeal to casual tennis players because they are lightweight and powerful. It is definitely easier for beginning tennis players to hit with

a lightweight racket that has a larger hitting surface. Brand means a lot when it comes to rackets because most newcomers have no idea which model they prefer and therefore usually choose a tennis racket based on the model they see at the store or one they’ve seen a top player use on TV.
