Venus Williams, who introduced her EleVen clothing line last fall, has now launched her official website which takes another step towards establishing herself as a brand. The new EleVen by Venus Williams website is a promotional site for her clothing line, but it also acts as her official website since it can be accessed via both elevenbyvenus.com and venuswilliams.com Most tennis players, even the early tennis trend-setter,

Andre Agassi, wore a mainstream tennis clothing brand, e.g. Nike, rather than launching his own brand. Recently, Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova have tried to make fashion statements with their Wimbledon and U.S. Open attire, respectively. However, Venus Williams has gone a step further by incorporating her tournament schedule, bio, blog, videos, charitable work, etc. with her clothing line website. It's a clever marketing move which serves to establish "Eleven" as the Venus Williams brand...
