Ana Ivanovic Has (Already) Stamped Her Mark...
Following in the footsteps of the legendary Arthur Ashe and World Number One, Roger Federer (who had stamps), Ana Ivanovic now has a postage stamp featuring her likeness for sale in Serbia. The limited edition of 30,000 stamps, which can be used as a normal postage stamp in Serbia, has been produced for the 2008 Olympics. There is also an envelope featuring Ivanovic’s likeness. It’s quite an honor for a living athlete especially one such as Ivanovic who although she has
risen in the rankings and reached the finals at the French Open and Australian Open in the past year, she has not yet won a Grand Slam title or been ranked Number One. The tribute is clearly an indication of both the popularity of Ivanovic in Serbia, as well as the sport of tennis.

She also joins Novak Djokovic, Jelena Jankovic, Nenad Zimonjic, and Janko Tipsarevic (i.e., the entire Serbian Olympic tennis team), who all also have stamps out right now.
