Magician Debuts on Centre Court

With the luck of the draw, the French “magician” Fabrice Santoro is playing Scotsman and the hope of British tennis, Andy Murray, in the first round at Wimbledon. Santoro will play on Centre Court... in front of most likely a very pro-Murray crowd. Ironically, the 35 year old Santoro had hoped to play a singles match on Centre Court during his final Wimbledon in 2008 because he had never played singles there during his long career. Santoro, who reached the doubles finals at Wimbledon, plays a unique style of tennis and his game and flair will be missed when he takes his final bow at Wimbledon.
