Nadal's New Look

Rafael Nadal is sporting what is supposed to be a more mature fashion look at the 2009 Australian Open. Rafael has traded in his sleeveless Nike tops for collarless shirts featuring bold and bright horizontal colors. Nadal has also switched from his trademark clamdigger, pirate pants to slightly long traditional tennis shorts which end a couple inches above the knee. It's a major fashion change for Nadal and one that actually makes
him appear thinner and less muscular. Rafa’s famous bulging biceps are hidden underneath the shirt sleeves. Apparently, there may also be collared shirts in Nadal’s future. Fortunately, the trademark bandana is still ensconced across his forehead!

Don't like the new look at all. His spirit doesn't shine thru, as the style is too ordinary. He doesn't need to "wear something that [supposedly] looks more mature", as his play and demeanor on the court is more than mature enough for everyone!! We hope he goes back to his signature style. We hope Nike isn't pressuring him to do this because it's an ill-advised marketing plan.
