The Championships, Wimbledon has released the list of the tennis pros who received the coveted wildcards for the Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ singles main draws.  The lucky few are:

Men:
•    Alex Bogdanovic of England
•    Grigor Dimitrov, 2008 Wimbledon Junior Boys’ Champion , of Bulgaria
•    Daniel Evans of England
•    Juan Carlos Ferrero, former French Open Champion, U.S. Open Finalist and Wimbledon quarterfinalist, of Spain
•    Joshua Goodall of England
•    James Ward of England
•    Nicolas Mahut of France (also received a wildcard into the doubles with Michael Llodra)
•    Next direct acceptance


Ladies:
•    Elena Balthacha of England
•    Kimiko Date Krumm, now thirty-eight years old and former Wimbledon semifinalist and number four ranked player in the world, of Japan
•    Alexa Glatch of the United States
•    Michelle Larcher de Brito, a sixteen years old who trains at Nick Bollettieri’s Academy, but hails from Portugal
•    Katie O’Brien of England
•    Laura Robson, fifteen year old 2008 Wimbledon Junior Girls’ Champion, of England
•    Melanie South of England
•    Georgie Stoop of England
