Bryan Brothers Band... On the Run

the U.S., U.K, France and Germany, as well as on the Bryan Brothers website. The songs feature Stanford University alum David Baron on vocals. Bob and Mike also attended Stanford before joining the pro tennis Tour. The Bryan Brothers' debut album, which is near Amazon's New Release Top Ten chart will be available for download exclusively on Amazon until mid October.
Given the total focus and generally one-dimensional lifestyles of most top tennis pros, it's refreshing to find that it is possible for players to develop other talents. Bob and Mike have been playing music since they were kids with their father. Bob plays the bass and keyboards while Mike focuses on the drums. The brothers frequently bring some of their musical equipment with them on Tour and jam whenever they have spare time. While they were in New York City for the 2009 U.S. Open, the Bryan Brothers Band featuring Davis Baron played at Arthur Ashe Kids' Day and also performed a gig at the Mercury Lounge, a popular music venue on the Lower East Side in New York City. Like tennis, which was a passion that became a profession, the Bryan Brothers are similar to millions of other musicians hoping to take their "garage band" into arenas and concert halls around the world. Many tennis players including John McEnroe, Jim Courier and Mats Wilander have also played guitar for fun in bands at tournament player parties and benefits over the years. Perhaps over time the Bryan Brothers will follow in the footsteps of former French Open Champion, Yannick Noah, the most famous tennis player turned musician who has become a huge rock star since leaving the tennis Tour.
