Serena also teamed with sister, Venus Williams, to capture three Grand Slam doubles titles at the Australian Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open. Serena may be remembered (more) for her unacceptable behavior towards a lineswoman at the 2009 U.S. Open, but on the tennis court in 2009, she was clearly the best player of the year.
