2010 Australian Open Men's Singles Final - Analysis

On Sunday night, World Number One, Roger Federer, takes on Andy Murray in the 2010 Australian Open Men’s Final. Murray, who is seeking his first Grand Slam title, would be the first British man in 74 years to win a Grand Slam if he wins on Sunday night. Federer holds the record for Grand Slam titles with 15, but Murray owns a 6-4 head-to-head advantage over Federer although Federer won their only match at a Grand Slam when he beat Murray in the 2008 U.S. Open final. Amazingly, Federer has continued his astonishing record by reaching his 23rd consecutive Grand Slam semifinal at the 2010 Australian Open (Ivan Lendl is next on the list with 10 straight…). On Sunday, Federer will be playing his 22nd Grand Slam singles final, but it took him 17 Grand Slams to finally win one and Andy Murray is playing in his 17th Grand Slam in Melbourne this year. We present our analysis of the players below:

Form Cruised through most matches Couple of bumps along the way
Fitness Worked very hard on fitness Plenty in reserve
Experience Second Grand Slam final Been here, done it many times
Pressure No Brit has won a Slam since… Seeking first Slam as a father
