2010 Australian Open Tennis Trophy Count

We salute the champions of the 2010 Australian Open… Serena Williams won her fifth Australian Open Women's Singles title and twelfth Grand Slam singles title defeating Justine Henin, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. Roger Federer defeated Andy Murray 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (11) to claim his fourth Australian Open Men's Singles title and sixteenth Grand Slam singles title. Serena Williams and Venus Williams defeated Number One seeds, Cara Black and Liezel Huber
6-4 6-3 to claim their fourth Australian Open Women’s Doubles title and eleventh Grand Slam women’s doubles title. Americans Bob and Mike Bryan won their fourth Australian Open Men's Doubles title and eighth Grand Slam men's doubles title defeating Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-3. Leander Paes and Cara Black, two of the premier doubles specialists, won the Mixed Doubles title for their second Grand Slam mixed doubles title together defeating Ekaterina Makarova and Jaroslav Levinsky 7-5, 6-3. Black and Paes also won the 2008 U.S. Open mixed doubles title. Seventeen year olds, Tiago Fernandes and Karolina Pliskova, captured the Junior Boys' and Junior Girls' titles respectively.
