2010 Wimbledon Championships: What's At Stake for the Top 8 Men's Seeds?

The results of the third Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year at the 2010 Wimbledon Championships matter in different ways for each of the top eight men. So what’s at stake for each of the players?
Roger Federer – He’s the defending champion and has collected six titles at the All England Club, but he hasn’t won a title since the Australian Open and will lose a lot of points/ground to Nadal unless he posts a strong result
Rafael Nadal – He knows he can win on grass since he won the title two years ago and it’s all “upside” for him this year since he couldn’t defend his title last year…
Novak Djokovic – He’s reached the semis and quarters in the past on the grass, but he hasn’t been further than a Slam semis since he won “down under” two and half years ago…
Andy Murray – He’ll have all the support he wants from the British fans, as well as all the pressure from everywhere, especially since he’s struggled since reaching the 2010 Australian Open final…
Andy Roddick – He lost a heartbreaker a year ago in the final, but he’ll have to serve his way through the draw starting in round one… may not be easy given his limited/poor play since April
Robin Soderling – He reached the round of 16 a year ago, but he may find it tougher this year to post back-to-back strong results from clay to grass…
Nikolay Davydenko – He’s fresh and eager, but lacking match practice after a lengthy injury layoff… Therefore, he can swing out freely on arguably his worst surface…
Fernando Verdasco – He’s posted solid results over the years at the Big W, but can he leverage his sliding lefty serve to move into the final round(s)?
