• At least four seeds will be upset in the first round
• Two night sessions will run past midnight
• A player will hit a serve over 140 MPH
• At least three former Grand Slam champions will reach the round of 16
• At least two Americans will reach the second week in singles
• The quarterfinals will feature players from twelve different countries
• There will only be one player who hits a one-handed backhand in the quarters
• Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will both reach at least the semis
• There will be a player, who has never won a Grand Slam singles title, in the women’s singles final
• One of the players in the men’s singles final will be wearing a dark-colored outfit
