Roger Federer's Twin Daughters In the Audience

At his "hometown" tournament in Basel, Switzerland, Roger Federer's twin daughters, Myla and Charlene, could be seen courtside with mommy, Mirka, at papa Roger's match. Babies on the tennis Tour have become more common in the past decade.
Kim Clijsters' daughter, Jada, has been seen in the stands and on the court after her U.S. Open victories. Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf's son and daughter were seen in the stands with Steffi at many of Andre's matches in his final years on the Tour.

The top tennis stars can afford to travel with enough support to bring along their families and share the experience with them. Federer has often said that he hopes to still be playing when his daughters are old enough to appreciate and understand what it means when they watch him play a tennis match. At the same time, these high-profile international celebrities need to carefully protect the privacy of their children. Former French Open champion, Yannick Noah's son has achieved success as a professional basketball player in the NBA, but it is not easy growing up in the shadow of a famous parent. The fact that Federer has twin daughters presents a unique set of circumstances for both the girls and for Federer.
