Thanks(giving) Tennis!

Sometimes it's good to take a moment to reflect because it allows one the chance to appreciate what one has... We are SO lucky in professional tennis with the players who lead our sport and here's a few reasons that we should be thankful...
• Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal - can you think of two more respected Number One and Two ranked players who also genuinely like and admire each other while trading the Number One ranking back and forth the past few years
• Serena Williams and Venus Williams – the success they’ve had is an incredible story and fortunately, the final chapter has yet to be written…
• Kim Clijsters - what a fairy-tale run she had in 2009 all the way to the U.S. Open title only to repeat as champion a year later
• The Bryan Brothers - charming, talented and bubbling with enthusiasm, they have made doubles “matter” (again) while inscribing their names into the record books as possibly the best doubles team ever!
• Global Diversity - there are eight countries represented in the year-end men’s (i.e. Spain, Switzerland, Serbia, Sweden, England, Czech Republic, United States, Russia) and women’s (i.e. Denmark, Russia, Belgium, United States, Australia, Italy, Serbia, Belarus) top ten rankings and fourteen different countries between the men and women.
• Economic Stability - given the global financial problems the past few years, it's remarkable how little impact it's had on the tournaments and players
