"Play" Tennis Sometime!
States that they took a couple years ago before they were married. The trip inspired them to write songs when they returned and eventually release the CD and start touring. Their new CD, "Cape Dory", has been well-received and they have played to sell-out crowds at larger and larger venues in major markets such as New York City.
Apparently, the name "Tennis" was chosen because the blond-haired couple can appear rather WASPy and wanted to make fun of themselves. Regardless, the more one hears the word "tennis", the more potential players who could be inspired to actually dust off their rackets and go hit some balls. In the meantime, have a listen to their new album, "John Dory", before you hit the courts the next time!
