2011 French Open Women's Singles Final - Preview

On Saturday in Paris, Li Na, from China, will face defending champion, Francesca Schiavone from Italy in the 2011 French Open Women's Singles Final. It will be the second consecutive Grand Slam final for Li Na, who lost to Kim Clijsters in the 2011
Australian Open final. Li and Schiavone have split their past four matches with Li winning at the 2009 U.S. Open and Schiavone winning at Roland Garros last year.
Li, who is the first Chinese woman in the French Open final, has won four titles during her career, but a win at Roland Garros on Saturday would be a monumental achievement for Li, Asian tennis, women’s tennis and tennis in general. On the other side of the net, Schiavone will be aiming to win her second Grand Slam and French Open title.
