2011 Wimbledon Wildcards

The coveted main draw wildcards aka “free passes” into the men’s and women’s singles draws at The Championships, Wimbledon 2011 were distributed last week. Unlike the Australian Open, U.S. Open and French Open, which award all their wildcards
to players from their respective countries, as well as a reciprocal wildcard to players from the other two Slam nations, Wimbledon awards some wildcards to non-Brits considered “worthy” of the honor and often does not give out all eight wildcards. The following players received a wildcard:
