Isner-Mahut @ Wimbledon Take Two

Tennis definitely wins again with the extra press that will be generated surrounding "the rematch" between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut at Wimbledon this year. Everyone remembers their incredible marathon match at Wimblebon last year won by Isner 70-68 in
the fifth set after over 11+ hours over three days a year ago. This year, although there is a placque next to Court 18 commemorating their record-setting match in 2010, Wimbledon assigned the rematch to the new Court No. 3, which actually holds many more seats than Court 18 so more tennis fans can enjoy the action.
It's a tough draw for Isner and Mahut, but also an opportunity for both to reach the second round while also generating some PR for themselves. It’s unlikely that their rematch will generate the “drama” of a year ago, but there will be headlines regardless. Isner, who is a "dangerous floater" with his big serve, has had the better year and ranking a year later so he will walk on court as the favorite. Nonetheless, there will be the intangible at play, i.e. their “history” together. Here’s to a great match and let the best player on the day prevail this year…
