o David Nalbandian, whose dream is to win the Davis Cup for Argentina, didn’t play singles in the Davis Cup Final against Spain despite playing well to help Argentina capture the doubles rubber

o Serbian, Janko Tipsarevic, who has beaten top players in the past, won the first two titles of his career in the fall, reached the ATP World Tour Finals when Andy Murray withdrew because of injury and went on to defeat Novak Djokovic and ended the year ranked 9th
